AEA Rack Tray

Mounting of TRP2, TRP3, 1029

To mount the TRP2, TRP3, or 1029, take the top plate off each unit and place the rack tray on top of the unit(s) you’re mounting, lining up the holes. Use the same screws from the top plate (or the supplied screws; they’re the same) to affix the rack tray to the unit(s). The screws used for this are 4-40 1/4″ Phillips Flathead Undercut screws.

Mounting of TDI Duos

To mount the TDI Duos, flip the Duos upside-down and place the AEA rack tray on top of them. Line up the 2 holes on the bottom of each Duo with the countersunk holes on the bottom of the AEA Rack Tray. Affix the Duos to the rack tray using the supplied 8-32 1/4″ Phillips Flathead Undercut screws. Two screws are used per TDI Duo to prevent the unit from shifting.

NOTE:

If desired, when using the Rack Tray to mount half-rack units, you can use the supplied black plugs to plug the holes for the TDI Duos. This will plug 7 of the 8 holes, as one will be obstructed by the chassis itself.
