The M80 has become a staple of live sound reinforcement and studio recording, combining a wide frequency response and condenser-like high-frequency extension with the ruggedness and low handling noise of a dynamic microphone. A custom-wound impedance-matching TELEFUNKEN T80 transformer and a Supercardioid polar pattern give it excellent feedback rejection and high-SPL handling, making it a reliable first choice for lead vocals, snare drum and brass instruments.

Hand-assembled in the USA, the M80 is available in a wide range of colors and premium metal or wood finishes, and ships with a zipper bag and M780 mic clip. Related low-profile (M80-SH) and wireless-capsule (M80-WH, M80-WH2) versions are available as separate listings.
