skulpter is elysia's high-end DC-coupled Class-A preamp, with audiophile relay-switched gain staging offering 40 gain values across a 3-65 dB range in 1.5/2 dB steps. Two independent Sound Shaper flavors add harmonic saturation tuned separately for instruments and for vocals, letting you fatten a signal or add soft, tube-like limiting depending on the source.

A variable low cut (10 Hz - 375 Hz, 12 dB/octave), an intelligent one-knob onboard compressor with Auto Fast, a balanced front-panel DI with 1 megohm input impedance, and onboard 48V phantom power make skulpter a complete recording front-end in a single 500 Series slot.
