BCLK WORD CLOCK CARD
The B80 and B16 Mothership daughter card slots can also be used for word clock distribution. The BCLK card features 8 BNC-style word clock outputs plus an AES/EBU clock output, across two independently programmable banks - an extremely low jitter, high quality clock generated by the BMBx motherboard and passed along the BURL BackBone to each daughter card slot.
With the BCLK card, a word clock distribution of up to 92 total outputs can be achieved with one B80 Mothership. The BCLK can also output multiples of the system word clock - for example, from a 96kHz session you can output 48kHz, 96kHz or 192kHz from each bank. Daughter card for the BURL Audio Mothership modular system, compatible with both the B80 and B16 chassis.
Each BCLK card adds 9 word clock outputs (8 BNC, 1 AES) across two independently programmable banks, letting a single B80 Mothership distribute low-jitter clock to the rest of the studio - up to 92 outputs from one chassis.
Because each bank can output a multiple of the system word clock, a single BCLK card lets you feed devices running at different sample rates from the same session clock, without a separate clock distribution box.
