BDA16 D/A CONVERTER CARD

16 channels of all-discrete, class-A digital-to-analog conversion on a single card, using the BURL NextGen Analog BOPA14 discrete op-amp. Daughter card for the BURL Audio Mothership modular system, compatible with both the B80 and B16 chassis.

The BDA16 is MOTHERSHIP 3 compatible and scales up to 32 maximum DAC channels in a B16, or 128 maximum DAC channels in a B80 (via a BMB2-MADI or BMB3-DANTE motherboard at 44.1kHz or 48kHz) - making it the high-density counterpart to the BAD16 for large monitoring and playback rigs.

High-Density DAC Conversion for the Mothership

The BDA16 mirrors the BAD16's high channel density on the output side, packing 16 channels of all-discrete, class-A BOPA14 conversion onto a single card - the natural complement for large-format monitoring, playback or output rigs built around the B80 or B16 Mothership.

Front panel signal indication and automatic BMB1-Digilink detection for Avid Delay Compensation keep the BDA16 consistent with the rest of the BURL BLACK daughter card range.
