BAD8 A/D CONVERTER CARD

An 8-channel analog-to-digital converter daughter card for the B80 and B16 Mothership, the BAD8 is the result of over 25 years of R&D A/D design experience. Following on the success of the B2 Bomber ADC, it employs a next-generation analog circuit path and the latest in analog-to-digital conversion technology - a no-compromise design using all class-A, discrete transistor circuitry and the legendary BX1 transformer-coupled input.

The BAD8 benefits from a newer, smaller form factor BX1 transformer that allows for higher channel density per card, giving it great tone with even more detail and amazingly low latency. Daughter card for the BURL Audio Mothership modular system, compatible with both the B80 and B16 chassis.

Product Description

BX1 Transformer Conversion at Higher Channel Density

The BAD8 carries forward the legendary BX1 transformer-coupled input from the B2 Bomber ADC into the Mothership platform, now in a smaller form factor that allows 8 channels of class-A, discrete transistor conversion on a single card.

Loaded into a B80 chassis, BAD8 cards deliver the same tonal signature that made the B2 Bomber ADC famous, scaled up to dozens of channels for full-console tracking rigs.
