BAD16 A/D CONVERTER CARD

A 16-channel analog-to-digital converter daughter card featuring the latest BURL BX8 transformer - a smaller form factor input transformer built for higher channel density at a lower cost per ADC channel than the existing BURL GREEN ADC line. Daughter card for the BURL Audio Mothership modular system, compatible with both the B80 and B16 chassis.

In a B16 chassis, the BAD16 is the ideal 16-channel input solution for recording musicians or project studios who have wanted a Mothership but found the price point out of reach. In a B80 chassis, up to 8 BAD16 cards deliver a maximum of 128 input channels when combined with a BMB2-MADI or BMB3-DANTE motherboard at 44.1kHz or 48kHz.

The BAD16 brings BURL Audio's all-discrete, transformer-coupled, class-A analog-to-digital conversion to the Mothership platform at a significantly higher channel density than earlier cards, thanks to the newly developed, compact BX8 input transformer.

Whether you need an affordable entry point into the Mothership ecosystem via a B16, or maximum input channel count in a single B80 chassis, the BAD16 scales from a single 16-channel card up to 128 channels of BURL-grade conversion.
