The Full Mothership Sound, In a 2U Chassis

The B16 Mothership packs the same class-A, all-discrete circuitry and the exact same daughter cards as the B80 into a compact 2-slot, 2U chassis with an internal power supply. A typical setup is an 8-in/8-out interface, but the same 2 slots can also be configured as a 16-input tracking front end or a 16-output portable mix rig.

Choose Your Digital Connectivity

Every B16 ships as a complete chassis with a motherboard installed, which sets how the unit talks to your DAW or network. The BMB1 gives you dual, both-primary DigiLink ports for direct Pro Tools connectivity. The BMB2 provides dual optical MADI ports. The BMB3 brings Dante networking. The BMB4 connects to a Waves SoundGrid network. The BMB6, exclusive to the B16, offers 8 channels of AES/EBU IO via a single DSUB25 connector for a simple, compact digital interface.

• BMB3 Dante - 2 Dante Ethernet ports (1 active standard), 64-channel IO at 44.1/48/88.2/96k, 32-channel at 176.4/192k
• BMB4 SoundGrid - 1 SoundGrid Ethernet port, 64-channel IO at 44.1/48/88.2/96k
• BMB6 AES/EBU - 8-channel AES/EBU IO via DSUB25 (Tascam format), exclusive to the B16 chassis
