Base 4 Stands Blumlein Attachment

The Blumlein Attachment mounts directly onto the Big Tree stand and is purpose-built for extra-heavy microphone pairs, designed with two RCA- or AEA 44-style ribbon microphones in mind. It allows height and rotation adjustments while the Blumlein array stays perfectly intact - unlike two-stand solutions, which require repositioning both stands for every adjustment.

Vertically centered next to the riser, the attachment needs no counterweights or sandbags to remain stable. A Big Tree fitted with the Blumlein Attachment and two 44-style microphones weighs under 30 lb (13.6 kg) in total - light enough to pick up and move around the room as one unit. Requires the Big Tree stand (sold separately).
